Don’t need an apartment until a future date, but know you want to live at the Taft? We have a solution! Join our Preferred Waiting List. While we cannot guarantee apartment availability, our wait-list system has successfully accommodated the needs of those who have expressed interest in living at The Taft since 1995.

Waiting List Requirements:

Completed and signed application. Don’t forget to read over our Qualification Standards
$75 non-refundable application fee
$200 common area fee – refundable until your application is approved AND we have begun holding a specific apartment home for you
Current contact information. Be sure to stay in touch with us if this information changes

How it Works:

Submit the above items
Your name is placed on a list in a first come, first serve fashion
- o Let us know if you have a preference with view, flooring, or higher floor. We will make every effort to match you with an apartment home that caters to your preference(s).
Our current residents give us a 60-day move-out notice, which we use to help us forecast upcoming availability
Once we receive move-out notices, we begin contacting the first party on the waiting list and work our way to those at the end of the list.
You have 24 hours after we have made the apartment offer to you to make your decision.
- We will do everything we can to get you as much information as you need to make your decision
  - Visit the exact apartment
  - Send you floor plans with dimensions
  - Take and send pictures
