Scott Ferguson, Property Manager:

imageScott has been working at The Taft since 1999.  His daily tasks include overseeing everything from leasing, rent collection, service requests, maintaining lease files, and training the team. Interacting with residents, whenever possible makes his daily job enjoyable.  No two days at The Taft are identical.  As for the best compliment that he has received on the job - “I have been told on several occasions, and by several different residents, that if I was not in my job at The Taft, they may have considered moving elsewhere.  I do not take that lightly.”  In his spare time, Scott enjoys reading, watching baseball, listening to music (especially live concerts), traveling and reality TV shows.

Greg Dix, Maintenance Manager:

imageGreg has been working at The Taft since 1993.  His daily tasks include ordering & stocking necessary supplies, ensuring all systems of the building are functioning properly, designating work duties for the maintenance team, and overseeing building contractors.  An enjoyable day for Greg is the challenge of the changing everyday schedule, and the satisfaction of completing necessary work.  No two days are exactly the same at The Taft, and it is good to see work getting done, especially when there is a heavy work load.  The Taft is a very maintenance-intensive building.  Greg can think of numerous compliments that he has received in his many years at The Taft; however, he is most appreciative of the numerous, simple “thank yous” and smiles that he receives on a regular basis.  In his spare time, Greg enjoys relaxing at home, and doing things around the house.  He also likes to golf and fish whenever he gets the chance.

imageErik began working at The Taft since 2009 as a high school intern.  Now entering his sophomore year at Bryant University, his daily tasks include answering the phones, helping out residents, giving guided tours of The Taft community, writing up lease documents, and more.  An enjoyable day for Erik is when he is able to help a future resident find and select an apartment that fits him/her best.  He also enjoys meeting new people on a daily basis and working within a great team atmosphere.  The best compliment that Erik has received – “I have been told that I am very hard working, with a good head on my shoulders.”  In his spare time, Erik enjoys spending free time with family & friends.
